History

Kentucky Horse Fence Oak
Kentucky Horse Fence Oak

In Central Kentucky there are miles and miles of roads lined with black four-board fences. It's been said that a wealthy farm owner, who had a connection to the asphalt industry, painted his fences with a sticky black pitch - almost as an advertisement for the diversity of the product. Soon thereafter, all of his neighbors quickly followed suit until it became the norm among the affluent farmer owners.
